Prof. Genito Amos Maure holds a PhD in Environmental and Geographical Sciences from the University of Cape Town, in South Africa. He is a Researcher and Professor at Eduardo Mondlane University in Mozambique, specialising in climate  adaptation. Among his portfolio of climate initiatives, he has significantly advanced public health resilience by supporting Mozambique’s baseline Vulnerability and Adaptation (V&A) assessments and facility pilots, before leading the nation’s Health National Adaptation Plan development. He is also an active member of WHO ATACH and contributor to Early Warning for All initiative in Mozambique.
