Dr. Pagiwa is a public health specialist with over 17 years of experience in both research and practice. He specializes in health policy and systems research, focusing on health policy analysis, health program evaluation, the nexus between climate change and health policy, and health politics and governance. He serves as a Public Health Research Fellow at the Okavango Research Institute at the University of Botswana. Dr. Pagiwa led the establishment of the CHANCE Network in Africa. Currently, Dr. Pagiwa is the Co-PI for the East and Southern African Regional Hub for Research and Policy on Climate Change and Health under the ARCH program funded by the IDRC. Dr. Pagiwa holds a PhD in Public Health from La Trobe University in Australia.
